My name is Carmen Amdur and jewellery is my legacy, passed down to me from my Mom who started Jose Jewellers over 35 years ago. While I grew up working with jewellery, it was ultimately my life experience that led to the creation of the Metamorphosis range. What started out as an outlet to help me cope with a traumatic life experience turned into something quite unexpected …….my original Metamorphosis collection was initially inspired by a butterfly ring which I wanted to design for myself to wear, symbolising emerging from a dark place and transforming into something beautiful. One ring ended up in a full range of meaningful pieces each named after the special women in my life who had supported and loved me on my journey. I was completely blown away by the impact Metamorphosis had on not only our long-standing clients, but to so many women from all walks of life who shared their stories of heartache and strength with me. This inspired me to continue building Metamorphosis as a meaningful brand.
